Growing Pains

Some of you may have noticed an occasional delay between your browser's request for a FineTunedMac page and the server's response. This morning, we were down altogether for a short period of time. Apologies for any inconvenience.

I'm not well enough versed in the technical side of server maintenance to do anything other than assure you all that the engineering department will be working on ironing out these and other kinks over the coming days. Thanks in advance for your patience!

    anybody else having problems getting to the forum? I"m getting the "server isn't responding" page.

    Yeah, it comes and goes. If you're persistent, you can usually eventually hit a spot where everything loads fine...and then it's downright snappy. It seems clear that whatever the problem is, it's not server speed per se.

    More information as soon as I'm privy to it!

    thanks, dk. I did eventually get in, and could read up on what's happening. and it's running smoothly this morning, so yay!
